Abstract

Author’s conclusions: intranasal budesonide may be an effective treatment, alternative to surgery, in children with mild obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.

Reviewers' comantary: some problems in design and methodology reduce validity to the results of this study, so that until new trials are conducted, it doesn’t seem appropriate to recommend this treatment in mild presentations of the syndrome in children six to twelve years old.
