Abstract

Authors' conclusions: adolescents tend to underestimate their habit of smoking calculated through a self reported survey.

Reviewers' comantary: adolescents tend to underestimate (or even deny) their tobacco consumption, and this fact could be even greater in daily clinical practice, when they are asked directly about it. Simple tools, valid and applicable to clinical practice are needed, to accurately determine the status of smoking among adolescents.
